Total BETTY! - by Megan Bayko at Mosaic Salons
I am Megan Bayko (owner/stylist/make-up artist). After high school I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I was/currently working on a Bachelors in Communication Studies. Finally I am able to live my dream could not be more excited! I went to the Aveda Institute here in Charlotte where my passion for hair and beauty grew even more. I set a goal to be "the best" I could possibly be in this industry, and since cosmetology school I am honored to receive many student achievement awards, have attended advanced cutting & color classes, inspirational workshops, and just recently attended a "Hands on Challenge" to be picked as one of the winners. I like to stay on top of the latest trends and always stay motivated with learning new techniques for cuts and color, so my clients leave not only looking beautiful, but feeling beautiful!

Total Betty!
In deciding on a name for my salon I wanted to come up with something that I could relate to. the definition of a Betty is: "a gorgeous woman-- perhaps timeless. This derives from the 1930's and 40's film star Betty Grable. She was the original 'pin-up' girl. Thousands of soldiers in World War II had pictures of her to 'pin-up' in their Barracks..."
In tribute to my Nana Betty who I owe my passion and love for this industry.
It is my goal to make sure I do my very best so all my clients look and  feel like a "Total Betty"!
